The Northern Frontier Foundation is proud to have supported The Christmas Party Cairns in 2025, an event that once again brought joy and unforgettable memories to families across the Cairns region.
On Saturday 15 November 2025, the Cairns Convention Centre came alive as more than 1,200 children and their families gathered to celebrate the Christmas season. Families travelled from towns around the region, including Port Douglas, Cardwell, and the Atherton Tablelands, all coming together for a day designed to ease financial pressure and create moments of joy.
The Christmas Party is a free, invitation-only event for children from across Australia who live with disabilities or complex care needs. Each annual party brings families together for entertainment, fun, treats, and a visit from Santa! Community-led initiatives such as these lift spirits and provide relief during what can be a stressful time of year.
